Bailey wished to have a shopping spree so that she could purchase a beautiful ring to honor the end of her treatment for leukemia. In July of 2019, Bailey's wish came true through a partnership with Littman Jewelers and Jewelers for Children.
On her wish day, Bailey was greeted with balloons and flowers at Littman Jewelers in Huntsville when she arrived to pick up her newly sized ring. The golden, vintage-inspired ring was presented to her along with a staff-purchased bracelet with the word "hope" inscribed on it. Bailey and her family ate cupcakes and sipped sparkling grape juice as they began her shopping spree.
“It was very exciting to share in this experience with Bailey,” said Deborah Buskirk, Manager of Littman Jewelers.
Bailey's wish was made possible through a grant from Jewelers for Children. Through partnerships with organizations like Jewelers for Children, more wishes are possible in Alabama for kids like Bailey.
Jewelers for Children has renewed its commitment to Make-A-Wish and has donated over $500K to grant 55 wishes across the country through their Wish-A-State program – wishes that have the possibility to give kids with critical illnesses the strength they need to fight harder.
