BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The non-profit organization is asking for your help sending sick children and their families on trips this summer. They aren’t asking for money or your time – just your airline miles.
Many people are heading to the airport this summer. And there are hundreds of kids in Alabama hoping to do the same.
That includes 9-year-old Reagan in north Alabama’s trip to San Diego, which is fully funded by Make-A-Wish Alabama.
She’s an example of how the wishes in flight program works.
The programs simple – you just donate your airline miles. The majority of granted wishes require airfare so this helps cut down the cost and allow the non-profit to do even more.
