Birmingham, AL. (July 26, 2016) – Make-A-Wish® Alabama is granting a wish to a local teen with the help of the organization Jewelers for Children. Breanna, an 18-year-old from Fairhope, has Cystic Fibrosis and her wish is to go to Hawaii. Wismar Jewelry in Fairhope is hosting a wish sendoff party at the store for Breanna on Wednesday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Jewelers for Children was founded in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need. JFC has donated more than $48 million to programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse, or neglect through relationships with charities such as Make-A-Wish®. This nationwide success is due to the continuing generosity of jewelry trade organizations, jewelry and watch manufacturing companies, jewelry retail stores, individual jewelry professionals, and jewelry consumers.
